All pieces (chain, clasps, jump rings and charms) of our charm necklaces are 14k gold filled. Chain is 16” with NO extender. Our necklaces are tarnish resistant if cared for properly.

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED? 

Gold-filled material is made by bonding a layer of gold alloy to a base metal core (typically brass, but sometimes copper or silver). This creates a material with the appearance and durability of solid gold, but at a lower cost.

HOW TO PREVENT TARNISHING:

Store in an airtight container

Remove before bed

Gently clean after each wear

Rinse with clean water after contact with sunscreen, saltwater, or sweat

Deep clean every month or two

HOW TO CLEAN GOLD-FILLED JEWELRY:

Gently clean with mild soap and water

Use a polishing cloth

Soak in warm water with a drop of gentle soap or mild dish soap

Scrub with an ultrasoft toothbrush

Rinse in lukewarm water a few times

Gently dry with a soft cloth
